Faq's

+ How many hours do you offer for set-up?

Full day set up is from 08h00 till 17h00 – A surcharge of R2500 ex vat will be charged per hour should set up or dry run continue after 17h00

+ When is the earliest we can set up?

 Early set up times can be arranged with your Events Coordinator and will be quoted accordingly

+How many hours do you offer for event strike ?

 Should strike continue after 24h00 there would be a surcharge of R2500 ex vat per hour

+ Can we ship to, or drop things off at the venue beforehand?

Of course, this can be arranged with your Events Coordinator – we will always try to assist with accommodating our clients should we have the space.

+ Do you have a list of preferred suppliers/vendors?

Yes, kindly email us for further details.  Our Sales Team will gladly assist in acquiring any further quotes you might need.

+ What staffing is included in the Venue Hire?

Our Langhams Events Team is on site and will assist you with the coordination of your event.
Should a client choose to use their own Suppliers for Furniture, Décor and AV it will then be the client’s responsibility to oversee set up of the event.

+ What additional staffing would we require during private events?

Waiters & Barmen at an additional charge

+ What furniture is included in the Venue Hire?

Standard Conference / Venue Furniture is included in your conference pack, however should a client wish to do a room rental then furniture would be quoted additionally.

+ Do you have additional furniture on-site available to rent, e.g. chairs?

Yes, this can be arranged at an additional charge

+ Does your venue provide in-house AV Equipment, Technicians and Support, or will this need to be rented elsewhere?

Yes, we have preferred suppliers that we can put you in contact with

+ Is guest parking available? If so, is it free?

Yes, we have approximately 200 parking bays on site at no charge. Overflow for an additional 50 vehicles can be arranged at a small cost.

+ Is security included in the rental fee?

Langhams Lifestyle Estate includes visible on-site security, however should clients require additional security this will come at an additional charge.

Food & Beverage

+ Do you have a liquor license?

Yes

+ Can we bring our own beer/wine/liquor? If so, is there a fee to do so?

Only wine can be brought onto the property at a corkage fee of R50 per bottle. Beer and other liquor can be specially ordered in on request.

+ Does your venue offer in-house catering? If so, is it an exclusive offering?

 Yes, Langhams does offers in-house catering. Although we do not allow any outside catering our team is happy to work within our client’s budgets and customise menus according to their requirements and event themes.

+ Can we have a food truck on the premises, or if possible, inside the facility?

This would need to be discussed with the Sales Team and/or Events Manager as well as our Property Manager.
